Rangers Vs. Tigers Score: Adrian Beltre Gives Texas 3-2 Lead

It didn't take long for the Detroit Tigers to lose their Game 6 lead. Michael Young doubled home both Elvis Andrus and Josh Hamilton to tie the game at 2-2. The very next batter, Adrian Beltre, singled to center, giving the Rangers their first lead of the night in Game 6 of the ALCS.

Max Scherzer had been pitching well, but the wheels have fallen off the wagon in the third inning for the hard throwing righty. Scherzer retired Ian Kinsler on a ground out to start the inning, but then walked Andrus before giving up a single to Hamilton. Young followed that up with his double, and Beltre followed suit by lining a single into centerfield.

Scherzer, since, has walked both Mike Napoli and Nelson Cruz to load the bases. If you're counting at home, that's six consecutive Rangers to reach base in the third inning.

Texas has a chance to put this game, and series, away with the bases loaded and one out in the third.
