After recording just one hit over the first five innings of Game 4 of the ALCS, the Texas Rangers finally got to Detroit starter Rick Porcello in the sixth and have taken a 3-2 lead. The Rangers got RBI hits from Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus and Michael Young to erase a 2-0 deficit.
David Murphy got things started for the Rangers in the sixth as he led off with a single. After Yorvit Torrealba popped out, Ian Kinsler doubled to left scoring Murphy and giving the Rangers their first run of the night. Kinsler then swiped third base off of Porcello and Elvis Andrus tied the game with an RBI single. Andrus moved into scoring position on a failed pick off attempt by Porcello and later scored on a Michael Young single to give the Rangers a 3-2 lead.
Alex Ogando relieved Matt Harrison in the bottom half of the sixth and successfully pitched around a lead off walk to Miguel Cabrera. Harrison pitched five innings and allowed three hits and two runs. The Texas lefty walked three and struck out three.
