ESPN Runs Down Full Rangers Ownership

Richard Durrett has disclosed the full list of Rangers owners for ESPN Dallas. The group consists largely of oil/gas and local business leaders. In addition to co-chairmen Bob Simpson and Ray Davis, the board of directors:

Beaudine, an SMU grad, runs an executive search firm. Clum and Hutton are execs at XTO energy. Hersh is a gas man. Kassling has connections with Greenberg from Pittsburgh and with the Penguins.

Among the full list of owners/investors, Durrett notes Jim Turner, who is a former chairman, president and CEO of Dr. Pepper.
