According to John Hickey, Rangers manager Ron Washington offered no comment on whether Cliff Lee might return to pitch in Game 4 of the World Series despite being on only three days rest.
↵Tommy Hunter had been widely believed to be the Game 4 starter. He's pitched twice in the postseason, failing to pitch more than four innings in either start. He's allowed six runs, five earned, in seven and a third innings of work.
↵If Lee does pitch in Game 4 of the World Series, that will open up debate as to who starts Game 5: C.J. Wilson on short rest or Tommy Hunter.
