Per T.R. Sullivan, the Texas Rangers have finalized their starting rotation for the ALCS. As expected, C.J. Wilson will start Game 1 of the ALCS Friday night in Arlington when the Rangers host the New York Yankees. Colby Lewis will start Game 2 and will be followed up by ALDS hero Cliff Lee in Game 3. Tommy Hunter will draw the Game 4 start. Both Lee and Hunter will be starting on the road in Yankee Stadium.
↵Ron Washington also said that infielder Esteban German will be dropped from the ALCS roster to make room for another bullpen arm. Michael Kirkman, Clay Rapada and Matt Harrison are options from the left handed side while Mark Lowe and Scott Feldman are right handed options. Sullivan hints that the Rangers are more apt to take a left hander.
