Texas Rangers owner Chuck Greenberg quickly put rumors to rest about Jon Daniels possibly headed to the New York Mets to fill their general manager vacancy. Ken Rosenthal tweeted that Greenberg said, ""We’re a family, and we’re going to stay together."
Look for Daniels to receive a contract extension with the Rangers rather than using his opt out clause in his contract and pursuing a job elsewhere.
