The Texas Longhorns go on the road to Oxford, Miss. this week to face the Ole Miss Rebels. Both teams have started the 2012 season 2-0 in nonconference play.
The no. 14 Longhorns opened up with a 37-17 win over Wyoming, then shut out New Mexico last Saturday 45-0. Quarterback David Ash went 16 of 22 for 221 and two touchdowns through the air, along with a 49-yard scoring run.
Mississippi quarterback Bo Wallace has racked up 135 yards on the ground and 438 through the air in Rebel wins over Central Arkansas and UTEP. The Ole Miss offense is leading the SEC in yards per game at 551.5.
The game will be played at 9:15 p.m. ET Saturday, and televised on ESPN. Texas opened up as a 12 point favorite, on the road; most books now have the 'Horns laying 10 points.
