Texas Vs. Ole Miss Odds: Longhorns Heavy Road Favorites

The Texas Longhorns game against Ole Miss on Saturday will be their first on the road and their first against a BCS opponent in the 2012 season.

Nevertheless, the odds makers don't expect it to be too much more competitive than their home laughers over Wyoming and New Mexico, as Texas is favored by 10.5 points with an over/under of 47.5.

In their first year under head coach Hugh Freeze, Michael Oher's real-life high school coach in the Blind Side, the Rebels beat up on Central Arkansas and UTEP to start the year 2-0.

Bo Wallace, their dual-threat sophomore QB, is their leading passer and rusher, and containing him will likely be the centerpiece of defensive coordinator Manny Diaz game-plan.

Diaz, a former defensive coordinator at Mississippi State, has plenty of experience with the Grove, one of the most hallowed game day atmospheres in the country.

For the Longhorns, the big story will be how sophomore QB David Ash responds to his first hostile atmosphere, after he played well (albeit with the safety wheels still firmly on) in their first two games in Austin.
