Alex Okafor is piling on with the preseason honors. He's on the All-Big 12 preseason team, as well as on watch for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award as it was announced on Friday in New Haven, Conn. Tyrann Mathieu of the national championship runner up LSU Tigers clearly headlines the list of players, but Okafor is a well-deserved candidate.

Also on the Watch List is SMU senior running back Zach Line. Last year's award was given to Andrew Luck of Stanford, and he eventually became the No. 1 overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts in this year's NFL Draft.

Appearing on the Watch List is not a requirement for a player win the award, but is definitely a nice starting point going into the season.
