Ricky Seals-Jones Takes Visit To Texas A&M, Revisits Texas

Ricky Seals-Jones was back on the Texas Longhorns campus just over a week after the nation's top wide receiver for the 2013 class opened up his recruitment. The visit by Seals-Jones was a surprise and caused head coach Mack Brown to alter his plans to attend a football camp so that he could be on campus to meet with the prized recruit.

One of the reasons that Seals-Jones felt that he made his decision to pledge to Texas too quickly, and wants to see what else is out there:

"I wanted to check out other schools and see if Texas was the right choice for me," Seals-Jones said. "I felt like I rushed into it and I wanted to check out other schools."

One issue that caused Seals-Jones to look at other schools is that he also wants to play basketball, but Texas head coach Mack Brown does not have an issue with that:

"It would not be a problem at all," Brown said. "What you get is you're going to a bowl game and you're going to be good, and they won't get there until after the bowl game. Rick [Barnes] and I have a great relationship. In fact, one of the many great things that [athletic director] DeLoss [Dodds] has done is every coach get together in this department. That's very unusual across the country, from what I hear. They all get along."

On his visit to Texas A&M, Seals-Jones visited the campus and said that he loved the atmosphere and was also told that there would be no issue if he played basketball as well as football. It is no surprise that the football coaches would make that concession since Seals-Jones is a one of a kind talent.

One positive note for Texas fans is that Seals-Jones still says that Texas is still his top school.
