Though he's just the backup quarterback in Buffalo, the recently signed Vince Young has impressed Bills head coach Chan Gailey.
↵↵↵"He's done some great things," Gailey said.
↵What are those great things? As Gailey sees it, just about everything a quarterback is asked to do: Throw, run, lead a team and win games.
↵"He's got a great arm," Gailey said. "When he worked out here, he threw it very well. Everybody knows his mobility. He brings you that, and he's won football games in the NFL. That's another positive."

I don't think having a strong arm and possessing mobility inside and outside of the pocket have ever been Young's shortcomings. Young will have to work on better mentally preparing himself for NFL games as well as his accuracy as a passer if he wants to succeed in the NFL and eventually battle for a starting job.
↵That Young can't get a starting gig in a league where Brandon Weeden was drafted to replace Colt McCoy (think about it) is quite telling. Hopefully for Young, his stop in Buffalo is a big step in the right direction toward him being a legitimate NFL QB.
