Skip Bayless Still Believes In Vince Young

Perhaps the greatest indication of former Texas great Vince Young's poor national reputation isn't the one-year deal he signed with the Buffalo Bills, but the fact that ESPN contrarian Skip Bayless is now in his corner:

Bayless, a legendary troll with the uncanny ability to stake out an opinion directly opposite the conventional wisdom, wouldn't be behind Young if a the vast majority of NFL fans were.

However, a broken clock is still right twice a day, and this Texas alum is still holding out hope for Young in the NFL.

Buffalo's incumbent starter, Ryan Fitzpatrick, doesn't have conventional passing statistics much higher than Young, and he certainly doesn't have Young's ability to break the pocket, which an imaginative coach could use to his team's advantage in the same way that Denver used Tim Tebow last season.
