It won't quite be a college atmosphere, but it sure should be fun: the University of Texas Longhorns men's basketball team will take on the UCLA Bruins at Reliant Stadium in Houston this year, according to FOX26 Houston.
The game will be a part of a basketball weekend extravaganza at Reliant Stadium, as the stadium is planning a high school double header the night before.
Texas' and UCLA's tilt will also be a part of a double header as well, which could involve two high profile women's college basketball teams. It would seem logical that Baylor would be in the mix, but that's purely speculation.
The folks over at Barking Carnival offer some advice if you're going to be attending the game: buy the best seats possible, since the venue is so gigantic.
Regardless, it's good to see the Longhorns take on a retooled UCLA team in a game that is almost certain to draw national interest.
