Texas Vs. Texas Tech Final Score: Longhorns End Two Game Losing Streak Against Red Raiders, 74-57

The Texas Longhorns broke out of their slump where they have lost two games in a row and five of their last six games by dominating the Texas Tech Red Raiders 74-57. Texas improved their poor first half shooting from 34 percent to 43 percent which was enough to counter Texas Tech who also drastically improved their shooting in the second half.

Texas was led by Clint Chapman who scored 20 points, had nine rebounds and five blocks on Saturday night. J'Covan Brown and Sheldon McClellan also contributed in the scoring as each scored 17 points.

The main reason that Texas was able to blow out Texas Texas was due to free throw shooting where Texas went to the line 31 times and made 25 while Texas Tech had 14 attempts and made nine.

The win for Texas puts them at 14-9 overall and 4-6 in Big 12 play, and the loss for Texas Tech drops them to 0-10 in the Big 12.
