The Texas football recruiting machine, which picked up three commitments over the weekend, continues to roll, as four-star OT Kent Perkins became the tenth class of 2013 football player to commit to the Longhorns on Monday:
OB has confirmed that Lake Highlands offensive lineman Kent Perkins has committed to Texas.

Perkins, at 6'6 285, has the size to be a prototypical left tackle in the modern game, with the foot-speed and length to contain elite edge pass rushers.
The Dallas native, who plays for Lake Highlands, a DISD school located near White Rock Lake, was recruited by most of the Big 12, with Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Baylor rumored to be in the running behind Texas.
A four-star recruit, he is rated as the No. 25 player in the country in the latest Rivals 250.
