The 12-point halftime deficit was too much for the Texas Longhorns to overcome against the Oklahoma St. Cowboys as they lost 90-78. In the second half the two teams played even in the second half. It was Oklahoma State's Keiton Page who was the key player in defeating Texas, Page had 40 points and made all 20 of his free throw attempts.
The free throw disparity was the difference in this game as Texas went 14-of-18 while Oklahoma State was 43-of-56. Overall Texas played well, they shot 49 percent from the field, made three more three-pointers than Oklahoma State and had 22 points from Myck Kabongo and 20 from J'Covan Brown, but it was the free throw difference to why Texas fell this afternoon to Oklahoma State.
