Coming off what was perhaps their biggest win of the season, the No. 19 Texas Longhorns look to stay in the Big 12 race this weekend when they host the Iowa State Cyclones. Texas is favored to take care of business, opening up as 9 1/2-point favorites, according to the odds provided by Odds Shark.
The over/under opened at 57, relatively modest by Big 12 standards. Texas is looking to continue a recent resurgence that has seen the Longhorns win three straight games following an embarrassing loss to the Oklahoma Sooners in October. The Longhorns still find themselves looking up at undefeated Kansas State in the Big 12 standings, but with games left against Iowa State, TCU and the Wildcats, the opportunity to run the table for a Big 12 title is still there.
Iowa State, meanwhile, is coming off its third loss in four games, 35-20 to Oklahoma.
The Cyclones (5-4, 2-4 Big 12) and Longhorns (7-2, 4-2) meet Saturday in Austin, Texas, at 11 a.m. CT.
