The Texas Longhorns have opened up as 8 1/2-point favorites over the TCU Horned Frogs for their Thanksgiving-night contest, according to Odds Shark.

No. 18 Texas is seeking its fifth straight win following a 33-7 win over Iowa State on Nov. 10, and is still jockeying for bowl position in the Big 12. TCU is bowl eligible with six wins and still has games against the Longhorns and Oklahoma left on its regular season schedule.

The over/under for Thursday night's game opened at 61. Texas has scored over 30 points in three of their past four games and is coming off one of its best defensive performance of the season, holding the Cyclones to only 7 points. It was only the second opponent all season the Longhorns have held to under 17 points. TCU also hasn't played since Nov. 10, a 23-10 win to Kansas State.

No. 18 Texas (8-2, 5-2) hosts TCU (6-4, 3-4) Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by ESPN. View all the week's college football lines at Odds Shark.
