College football 2012 schedule: Texas Tech-Kansas State biggest game on Big 12 slate

The Red Raiders look to continue their surprise season and do what no other team has done this year -- beat Kansas State.

Kevin Jairaj-US PRESSWIRE

The Kansas State Wildcats sit atop the Big 12 as the conference's lone unbeaten team, but the Texas Tech Red Raiders can claim the top spot for themselves with an upset win in Manhattan, Kan., on Saturday.

Texas Tech is coming off an overtime win over TCU, while the Wildcats are fresh off a blowout road win over West Virginia. Kansas State has BCS title game aspirations, while the Red Raiders look to continue their surprise season and enter the BCS conversation themselves.

Elsewhere in the Big 12, Texas looks to feast on the hapless Kansas Jayhawks, Baylor looks for its conference win on the road at Iowa State and TCU looks to rebound from the loss to Texas Tech when it travels to face Oklahoma State.
