Baylor Vs. Texas 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The Longhorns' abysmal defense will have its work cut out on Saturday when Texas tries to contain one of the nation's best offenses.

Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE

The Baylor Bears and the No. 25 Texas Longhorns will square off for a Big 12 shootout on Saturday night in Austin.

Both teams are looking to rebound from disappointing blowout losses in Week 7. Texas (4-2, 1-2 Big 12) was clobbered by the Oklahoma Sooners, 63-21, and Baylor (3-2, 0-2 Big 12) dropped a 49-21 tussle with the TCU Horned Frogs.

Baylor's offense, led by senior quarterback Nick Florence, ranks first in the nation in passing with an average of 398.4 yards per game. They'll hope to prey on a dreadful Texas defense, which is ranked 99th in the nation in total defense and 94th in points against. The Longhorns defense surrendered 677 total yards and 343 yards to the Sooners in last week's loss.

Despite their defensive shortcomings, the Longhorns are currently 10-point favorites against the Bears and the over/under for Saturday's Big 12 battle is currently set at 80, according to Oddsshark.com.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT at Turf of Memorial Field and the game will be televised on ABC, ESPN 3, Gameplan PPV and ESPN Mobile TV.
