Texas Vs. Baylor Halftime Update: Bears Dominating Longhorns On The Boards, Lead 38-29

The Baylor Bears have been the clear aggressor on the boards versus the Texas Longhorns in the first half, yet turnovers and lapses in judgment have kept things close as the Bears lead 38-29 at the half in the Ferrell Center.

The Bears have out-rebounded the Longhorns by a convincing 22-7 margin in the first half, as foul trouble to Rick Barnes' big men as limited their effectiveness on the boards. Yet, 10 turnovers by the Bears and unproductive offensive possessions have kept the game close.

The top performers thus far have been J'Covan Brown of Texas, as his 11 points and 3 assists has been the only consistent scoring option for the Longhorns. Baylor's Perry Jones III has 12 points and 10 rebounds at the half and has owned the middle.

Myck Kabongo and Clint Chapman have been saddled on the bench with foul trouble but look to make a contribution in the second half.
