NCAA Basketball Rankings: Texas Falls To No. 10

This week's AP hoops poll is up, and a rough stretch that included losses at Nebraska and Colorado and a home loss to Kansas State have landed Texas at No. 10. Ohio State stays in the top spot, followed by Kansas, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and Duke. A little good news for the Longhorns' seeding hopes is that North Carolina - who Texas beat in Chapel Hill in December - has rebounded all of the way up to No. 6.

Texas finished their season by dimming Baylor's hopes of making the big dance and now looks forward to the Big 12 Conference tournament in Kansas City, where it will be the two seed behind Kansas. They will hope that a strong showing wins them a second seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Elsewhere in the Big 12, Kansas State falls in at No. 19, and Texas A&M received the most votes among others. The Aggies did make the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll at No. 21. Missouri also received votes in both polls.
