2011 Big 12 Tournament: Semifinal Schedule

The top two seeds appear to still be on a collision course in the 2011 Big 12 Tournament.

The top-seeded Kansas Jayhawks, despite a scare from Oklahoma State, advanced to the semifinals yesterday with their 63-62 win over the Cowboys. Kansas will take on the Colorado Buffaloes, who upset Kansas State in the quarterfinals, defeating the Wildcats 87-75 en route to helping solidify an at-large bid for the 2011 NCAA Tournament.

Kansas and Colorado will tipoff at 7:00 p.m. EST and televised coverage can be found on the Big 12 Network. The winner, of course, will advance to the 2011 Big 12 title game.

The other semifinal game pits the Texas Longhorns, the two-seed in the tournament, against the Texas A&M Aggies. The Aggies handled Missouri with relative ease, winning 86-71 in the quarterfinals. The Longhorns also had a walk in the park - or court in this case - defeating the Oklahoma Sooners 74-54 on Thursday.

Texas and Texas A&M are slated to tipoff at 9:30 p.m. EST, with the winner taking on the winner of the Kansas/Colorado game on Saturday in the title game. Televised coverage for the Texas/Texas A&M game can be found once again on the Big 12 Network.
