Jermauria Rasco Chooses LSU Over Texas, Florida

Mack Brown's bid for a late addition to his top five class failed this afternoon, as Shreveport's Jermauria Rasco signed with the LSU Tigers. Texas was thought to be out of the running after Will Muschamp, who had recruited him for Texas, left to run the Florida Gators program. Texas re-entered the picture late, but that was not enough to bring Rasco across the border from the storied Evangel Christian program.

The Shreveport Times was at Rasco's announcement:

"I'd like to thank my teammates and coaches I've been with the last couple of years and I'd like to announce that I'm taking my talents to," Rasco said as he whipped out a purple LSU hat.
