Texas Vs. North Carolina State Final Score: Longhorns Squander Big Lead, Lose 77-74

The Texas Longhorns led 65-52 with 8:25 to go but couldn't hold on as N.C. State went on a big run to steal a 77-74 win in the Third-place game of the TicketCity Legends Classic. The loss is the Longhorn's second in a row as they return home looking to work out the kinks over the holiday. 

J'Covan Brown scored 17 points before fouling out and also finished with seven assists. Jonathan Holmes recorded a double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sheldon McClellan pitched in 16 points of his own off the bench for the Longhorns. Texas built a 43-33 advantage at the half and led by as many as 15 points in the second half. 

C.J. Leslie returned to the Wolfpack lineup with 17 points and Scott Wood pitched in 16 off the bench. Lorenzo Brown finished with 11 points and three assists for N.C. State. 

Texas is off through Thanksgiving and won't take the floor again until Saturday when they host Sam Houston State.
