Though most teams participated in the giant slate of games on the opening weekend of College Football, the TCU Horned Frogs had to wait until the second weekend to get their season started. Starting heir first game ranked No. 20 in the nation on the AP Poll, they'll kick off their season against Grambling State on Saturday.

It will be a game of firsts for the Frogs, who will be playing their first game as a member of the Big 12 and their first ever game against Grambling State. With an eight game winning streak going into the game against a fairly weak Tigers team and 26 wins out of their last 27 games at home, TCU will be considered the heavy favorite going into the start of their 2012.

Casey Pachall will be the man to watch for TCU, the young quarterback is coming off an inaugural season where he set records in passing yards while taking over for Andy Dalton. If he can keep boosting his numbers, TCU should have no problem meeting and perhaps eclipsing the 11 win mark that they equaled last season. Against a less than stellar Tigers defense, he has a chance to put on a show.

Grambling State dropped the first game of the season to Alcorn State during opening weekend, 22-21.

Game Time: 6 p.m. CT at Amon Carter Stadium

TV: Fox Sports Southwest Plus
