TCU Vs. Virginia Odds: Frogs Are 17 Point Favorites

While Virginia, an ACC program coming off an 8-5 season, should be more of a test for TCU than Grambling or Kansas, the oddsmakers don't think Frogs fans should be sweating Saturday's game too much.

After opening at TCU -14, the line for the game is now at -17.5.

For all the optimism surrounding the Cavaliers program in Mike London's third year on the job, they are coming off a 56-20 drubbing at the hands of Georgia Tech.

They were able to defeat Penn State, meanwhile, but it was on a last-second field goal in a 17-16 game where the Nittany Lions' own kicking game fell apart.

The Frogs, meanwhile, have been under the radar for the first part of 2012, but they have a chance to rack up an 8-0 record before they play the four ranked teams on their schedule -- West Virginia, Kansas State, Texas and Oklahoma -- in the last four games of the season.

The over/under for Saturday's game is 53.5, as quarterback Casey Pachall has the chance to continue his remarkable hot streak. In his first two games, Pachall has completed 84.5 percent of his passes for 536 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.
