The 16th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs extended their lead over the Kansas Jayhawks, 20-6, at the end of the third quarter.
Horned Frogs wide receiver Brandon Carter scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Casey Pachall for their second touchdown pass-and-catch of the day. Pachall is putting on a clinic of efficiency with only six incomplete passes in 26 attempts through three quarters. Carter has seven receptions for 125 and two touchdowns.
Jaden Oberkrom added a 26-yard field goal with 21 seconds remaining in the third to give the Horned Frogs a 20-6 lead.
After the Jayhawks opened up the scoring with a field goal halfway through the first quarter, the Horned Frogs have outscored the Jayhawks 17 to 3 to take control of the ballgame.
This would be the Horned Frogs first win as a member of the Big 12 conference.
