The TCU leads 7-3 after one quarter of play against the Kansas Jayhawks in the Horned Frogs' first-ever Big-12 conference game on Saturday.
TCU struggled offensively out of the gate, turning the ball over on consecutive possessions to start the game. Fortunately for the Horned Frogs, Kansas was only able to get a field goal after the two turnovers.
Casey Pachall fumbled the ball to Kansas on TCU's second possession, but Jayhawk quarterback Dayne Crist gave the ball back on an interception just two plays later. The Horned Frogs were able to take advantage by going on a 4-play, 52-yard touchdown drive.
Brandon Carter connected with Pachall on an eight-yard touchdown catch for TCU's only first quarter score.
Kansas is drove deep into TCU territory as the second quarter began, but they missed a field goal and the score has stayed at 7-3.
