Plans for the TCU Horned Frogs to open the 2014 season at home against the LSU Tigers have been scrapped, according to reports. The two teams are still attempting to reach an agreement to play at some point in the 2014 season.
TCU and LSU reached an agreement on Tuesday to open the 2013 season at Cowboys Stadium as part of the Cowboys Stadium Classic. It was expected that the agreement would be a home-and-home arrangement, with TCU hosting to open the 2014 season, but that is no longer the case according to LSU associate athletic director Verge Ausberry.
The change to a neutral site for the 2013 opener is a likely factor in the change of plans for 2014.
