TCU Vs. Kansas 2012: Dave Campo Adjusts To College

Dave Campo, former defensive coordinator and head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, has spent this season adjusting to working in the Big 12. The Kansas Jayhawks signed him up as their defensive coordinator during the offseason to help boost a defensive unit that needed the help and gave up 393 points last season.

Campo has said that the Big 12 is different from the NFL because of the wide-spread use of the spread offense around the conference:

"When you talk about the SEC or the PAC 12, they are almost more NFL-type leagues from the standpoint that they are all like what Texas is doing," Campo said, explaining how the Big 12 is more fast-paced with a spread offense.

Expectations are low for the Jayhawks this season, so Campo won't be called into question in a bad situation. He'll try and keep building the defense for a better future.
