The 2012 Mountain West Conference tournament begins on Thursday March 8 and is taking place at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. San Diego State and New Mexico tied for the best league record, however after going through the tie-breakers the top seed belongs to San Diego State due to their season sweep over TCU.
TCU finished with a 7-7 conference record which earned them the No. 5 seed for the conference tournament and they will be taking on Colorado State.
