TCU vs. Oklahoma State score update: Horned Frogs lead 14-3 after 1st quarter

TCU put up a pair of touchdowns and lead Oklahoma State 14-3 after the first quarter.

The TCU Horned Frogs were able to get on the scoreboard first when Elisha Olabode intercepted Oklahoma State quarterback Wes Lunt, and returned it 11 yards for a touchdown. The TCU defense also forced a fumble later in the first quarter, and now lead 14-3.

After punting the ball on two straight possessions, the TCU offense was able to mount a six-play drive that went 83 yards. The drive ended with Trevone Boykin completing an 18-yard touchdown pass to LaDarius Brown.

Oklahoma State was able to get on the board when they converted a 22-yard field goal and made it a 14-3 TCU lead. On that Oklahoma State scoring drive, the TCU defense forced Oklahoma State to kick that field goal despite having 1st-and-goal at the 7-yard line.

The defense has been the key for TCU having a 14-3 lead. On offense Boykin has been playing well enough to keep TCU moving the ball, plus he has the game's only offensive touchdown.
