College Football Rankings, Week 9: Texas Tech moves up in AP Poll

Texas Tech jumps two spots to No. 15 after their wild OT win in Fort Worth.

The Week 9 AP Poll is out, and the Big 12 has three teams represented inside the top 15. Kansas State continues to carry the banner for the conference, holding at No. 4 after a blowout win at West Virginia. Oklahoma moved up a spot to No. 8, with their Week 9 showdown against Notre Dame on the docket in Norman.

The Red Raiders of Texas Tech continued their ascent up the AP Poll, jumping two spots to No. 15 after their thrilling overtime win against TCU. The Horned Frogs made a valiant comeback in the fourth quarter, but could not find the end zone in triple overtime. The Red Raiders now face Kansas State in Manhattan, a huge game that could give them a shot to move inside the top 10 with the road win.

In the SEC, Texas A&M dropped four spots to No. 22 after a frustrating loss to LSU. Here's this week's entire AP Top 25 poll:
