The TCU Horned Frogs have gotten off to a blazing start in 2012, and already have their first conference victory. They'll be looking for a second win when they face off against the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday in Texas. The game against the 'Clones will be the first game in a stretch of nothing but Big 12 matches for the rest of the season.
Iowa State started off with three wins but received their first loss of the season in their first Big 12 match against Texas Tech. The Cyclones were held to under 200 yards of total offense in that game, which doesn't bode well going against TCU's strong defense that has only allowed 29 points in its first three games. The leakiest that the TCU defense has been this season was in their last game against SMU, when they allowed 16 points en route to a 24-16 win. They were still plenty good in that game though, creating six turnovers.
TCU has won 12 straight FBS games going back to last season, currently the longest such record in college football.
The game will be in Fort Worth, Texas at 2:10 p.m. CT. It will be televised on FSN.
