TCU Vs. Wyoming Final Score: Horned Frogs Win 31-20 Over Cowboys

TCU outscored Wyoming 14-3 in the second half to propel themselves to a 31-20 victory and their seventh win of the season. The win was the Horned Frogs' fourth in a row and sets them up for their showdown with Boise State next weekend. 

Wyoming was able to put up a fight throughout most of the game. After Matthew Tucker put TCU in front 7-0 in the first with a five yard touchdown run, Wyoming came back with a Brett Smith touchdown pass and a Daniel Sullivan field goal to take a 10-7 lead after one. 

The Horned Frogs answered back with 10 straight points in the second quarter with an Ed Wesley touchdown run and a Ross Evans field goal that extended TCU's lead to 17-10. The Cowboys tied the game once again shortly before halftime with a Brett Smith touchdown pass to Mazi Ogbonna

Wyoming once grabbed the lead in the third quarter when Sullivan banged home a 48 yard field goal however, Ed Wesley's four yard touchdown plunge with 2:21 remaining in the third put the Horned Frogs on top 24-20 and gave them the lead for good. Matthew Tucker's second touchdown of the day capped off the scoring in the fourth quarter giving TCU the 31-20 victory. 

Waymon James led the way for TCU with 181 yards on just 12 carries with a long of 74. Ed Wesley finished with 19 carries for 120 yards and two touchdown. Matthew Tucker finished with 90 yards and two touchdown runs. Quarterback Casey Pachall finished 17 of 24 for 227 yards and an interception. 

Brett Smith completed 17 of 26 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns for the Cowboys. Smith also led Wyoming on the ground with 68 yards rushing.
