The TCU Horned Frogs are still in the running for an automatic BCS bid from the non-AQ ranks, but TCU will need some help. First they need the Houston Cougars to lose down the stretch so that TCU will be the highest ranked non-AQ team, TCU also needs to move into the top 16 due to the Big East is likely to be lower than TCU and of course win out to finish 10-2.
TCU will be extremely close to the No. 16 spot -- if not hold that spot since these projection go to only No. 15 -- since the Clemson Tigers and Nebraska Cornhuskers lost, but likely it seems that TCU will be No. 18, because it seems unlikely that Clemson will drop from No. 7 to behind TCU.
