TCU Vs. Colorado State Halftime Score: Horned Frogs Lead Rams 13-3 At The Half

The TCU Horned Frogs passing offense is not off to the same start as they did in last weeks upset win over the Boise St. Broncos as starting quarterback Casey Pachall is 4-for-10 for only 40 yards in the first half. However the running game has improved by already having 118 yards in the first half which is 98 yards more than TCU had all of last week against Boise State.

Matthew Tucker is leading the way with 53 yards on eight carries and Waymon James has contributed well with 41 yards on the day. The only touchdown on the day for TCU came from an unlikely player in wide receiver Antoine Hicks who got the score on a 2-yard rush.

Colorado State is without Pete Thomas who is their normal starting quarterback, but he is out with a knee injury that he suffered last week. Freshman Garrett Grayson is getting the start and has been efficient in the first half by throwing 5-for-7 for 99 yards but he does have an interception.

At the end of the half, Colorado State drove down to the TCU 7-yard line but could not get a touchdown and settled for a 24-yard field goal as time expired and trail 13-3 at the half.
