The TCU Horned Frogs are a quarter away from their first Rose Bowl victory in school history. TCU leads Wisconsin 21-13 headed into the fourth and final quarter of play.
The Horned Frogs scored on the opening possession of the second half when Luke Shivers scored on a one-yard touchdown run, giving TCU a 21-13 lead. Since then, both defenses have come up big as neither Wisconsin or TCU have scored since.
Wisconsin had only two possessions in the third quarter, starting deep in their own territory. The Badgers had a 10 play drive that began on their own nine yard line stall as Wisconsin was forced to punt. Wisconsin later went three-and-out on a possession starting at their own three yard line.
