Stephen F. Austin Vs. Southern Methodist: Mustangs Roll 52-0

The SMU Mustangs had very little trouble Saturday night in hosting Stephen F. Austin. The Mustangs scored early and often and were totally dominant on offense in a 52-0 win. The Mustangs intercepted Joe Minden three times and Brady Attaway four times to earns a total of seven interceptions. The Mustangs also recovered two fumbles.

Three of the turnovers were returned for touchdowns as Kenneth Acker returned an interception 77 yards for a score, Ja'Gared Davis returned a pick 34 yards for a score, and Cameron Rogers returned a fumble 94 yards for a touchdown. The only time Stephen F. Austin came close to scoring also resulted in points for SMU, as Acker returned a blocked field goal 56 yards for a touchdown.

Zach Line rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Stephen F. Austin gained over 450 yards of total offense but resulted in zero points.
