If the SMU Mustangs want to get out of the month of September with a win on their record, their second game against Steven F. Austin will be their best chance to get one. With games against tough competition including Texas A&M and Texas Christian University coming up, the FCS competition will give them the best shot.
Zach Line will be the man to watch for the Mustangs. The running back put together 135 yards against Baylor in SMU's opening contest and has rushed for 100-plus yards 16 times in his college football career.
This will be the second ever meeting between the two schools. SMU took a victory in the first meeting, the opening game of the 2009 season.
Game time, TV channel: 8 p.m. ET, Time Warner Texas
