The Mustangs continued to flounder in the third quarter of their game against the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, giving up another 21 points in the third quarter.
While SMU earned their first points of the game with a Chase Hover 25-yard field goal, but it was more disappointing than celebrated as it was a poor ending to a very successful, nine-play, 67-yard drive.
Meanwhile, the Mustangs defense still had no answer for Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel who threw two more touchdowns and ran in one as well during the third quarter to extend the lead to 41-3.
SMU is 15 minutes away from ending what has been a very poor performance for the team against the newest SEC member. The Mustangs will begin the fourth quarter with the ball in Texas A&M territory.
