Kyle Padron fired his second touchdown strike of the game to cut Army’s lead to two points in the Armed Forces Bowl. Padron fired a 28 yard pass to Darius Johnson for a touchdown with just over nine minutes to play in the fourth quarter to make the score 16-14. The touchdown capped off a 10 play, 74 yard drive for SMU.
The Mustangs will have to rely on their defense to keep the Black Knights out of the end zone to keep the game a one possession game.
