<p><a href="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/tony_pauline/01/17/shrine.game.practice.reports.tuesday/index.html">Sports Illustrated has a breakdown</a> of players who have improved their Draft stock so far in practices for the East-West Shrine Game this weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida. Among the standouts is University of Texas offensive lineman <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/77320/david-snow">David Snow</a>, who SI projects could play either guard or center at the pro level:</p>
<blockquote>
<p><b>David Snow, OL, Texas</b> -- Snow looked dominant at two positions; guard and center. He's feisty, strong and football smart. Snow does not necessarily look the part, but gets the most from his ability and did not give up an inch to opponents this day. The versatility to play intelligent football at two offensive line positions helped his stock greatly.</p>

<p>Three Big 12 players -- Justin Blackmon, Robert Griffin III and Ryan Tannehill -- are projected to go in the top ten.</p> <p>In the latest mock draft from SBNation, and the first one since the early entry deadline for college underclassmen, Ryan Van Bibber <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/2012-nfl-draft/2012/1/17/2709580/2012-nfl-mock-draft-andrew-luck">has the Dallas Cowboys taking Stanford OG David DeCastro with the No. 14 overall pick in the first round</a>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p><span style="color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'Liberation Sans', FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">Finally, some attitude and meanness to the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/">Cowboys</a> interior line. DeCastro should probably be a top ten pick; he is that good. <span>Derrick Dockery</span></span><span style="color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'Liberation Sans', FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;"> will be a free agent after spending the better part of the season injured.</span></p>
</blockquote>
<p>DeCastro, a 6'5 310 redshirt junior, was one of the key figures on a dominating offensive line that helped <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37738/andrew-luck">Andrew Luck</a> become the consensus No. 1 overall pick as well as lead Stanford back to national prominence. He was a first-team All Pac-10 selection as a sophomore and was a unanimous All-American last year.</p>
<p>And while Cowboys fans have been dreaming about LSU CB <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/78699/morris-claiborne">Morris Claiborne</a> or Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick ever since the Dallas secondary made <span>Victor Cruz</span> a star on national TV, Van Bibber has both SEC stars going in the first seven picks.</p>
<p>Several area college players are getting high first-round talk, with WR <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37330/justin-blackmon">Justin Blackmon</a> of Oklahoma State at No. 4 to the Cleveland Brown, QB <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/35519/robert-griffin-iii">Robert Griffin III</a> of Baylor at No. 6 to the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/washington-redskins">Washington Redskins</a>, QB <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/8646/ryan-tannehill">Ryan Tannehill</a> of Texas A&M at No. 9 to the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.thephinsider.com/">Miami Dolphins</a> and WR <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/35515/kendall-wright">Kendall Wright</a> of Baylor at No. 19 to the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.windycitygridiron.com/">Chicago Bears</a>.</p>

<p>The Austin American-Statesman asked ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay about Longhorn draft prospects and received a lukewarm response. McShay said that Kheeston Randle, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37906/emmanuel-acho">Emmanuel Acho</a>, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/8522/keenan-robinson">Keenan Robinson</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37905/justin-tucker">Justin Tucker</a> are draft worthy.</p>↵<p>McShay gave Randle a second round grade and said that Robinson's speed could get him into the second or third round. He projects Acho in the third and Tucker as one of the kicking possibilities. He also looked at Austin's <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/6915/nick-foles">Nick Foles</a> and A&M's <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/8646/ryan-tannehill">Ryan Tannehill</a>.
