How many times have you went to a football game and felt the need to buy lingerie?
If you're like most people, the answer is probably never. Nevertheless, Jerry Jones is happy to take any more of your money you feel like spending if you ever happen to be at Cowboys Stadium.
The Cowboys owner / GM / president / assistant coach / PR spokesman announced on Friday that the team would be teaming up with Victoria's Secret to open up a new store at the stadium:
"Well, we've got some beautiful places out at that stadium, some gorgeous surroundings, and nothing would be nicer than to have the showing of pretty clothes," Jones said on a local sports radio show. "We've got the atmosphere and the forum to model and really show some pretty clothes and have them involved relative to sports and relative to the Cowboys, so why not?"
The better question is, what product couldn't Jones throw a star on and sell at a 100% mark-up?
My only advice: if you're going to have Broadway-style prices, you had better not be putting on an off-Broadway play on the field.
