SI.com Predicts FC Dallas Will Finish In Sixth Place In West

On the heels of a 15-11-7 season, SI.com is predicting that FC Dallas will finish sixth in the West Division this MLS season. It should be noted the Dallas has finished lower than fifth in the division just once in their history. 2009 saw the squad finish seventh.

While the Los Angeles Galaxy are favorite to win the division once again, head coach Schellas Hyndman's Dallas squad does have the pieces to make it an entertaining season on the pitch at FC Dallas Stadium.

David Ferreira will be returning from a season-ending injury he suffered in April, while the squad will be counting on the continued progression of Texas native Brek Shea. Shea spent some of the winter training in Europe with Arsenal.

Another noted player, defender George John was loaned to another EPL squad, West Ham United, but has returned for the start of the MLS Season.

The season gets underway on Sunday for FC Dallas, as they will have a home match against the New York Red Bulls, picked to finish this season third in the East.
