Stars Vs. Flames Final Score: Dallas Get Past Calgary 4-1

The Dallas Stars had little issues getting past the Calgary Flames 4-1, and were led behind a pair of goals by all-star Jamie Benn. Benn's first goal was under two minutes into the game to give the Stars and early 1-0 lead then it was Michael Ryder scored his 33rd goal of the year to put the Stars up 2-0.

The game was 2-1 for the second period and most of the third, but the Stars scored two quick goals late in the fourth quarter by Benn to put the game away with just over three minutes left in the game, and then Brenden Morrow scored an empty netter to seal the win.

Goaie Kari Lehtonen had a huge game by stopping 35 shots, including 29 he faced over the final two periods.

The win for Dallas gave them two critical points to put them at the top of the Pacific Division and into the third seed in the Western Conference, for now. Bot the Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes who are currently one point behind Dallas play Saturday night, so the standings could be different come Sunday morning.
