Stars Vs. Flames: NHL Game Preview, TV Info And More

After recent bad stretches, both the Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames are in search of much needed wins.

Presswire

Dallas takes the ice for an afternoon game on Saturday as the Stars try to snag a string of three losses in four games, when they host the 34-26-15 Calgary Flames.

Heading in the game, Calgary finds themselves in the midst of a current four-game losing streak themselves.

The Stars certainly are searching for a win to keep themselves ahead of the Colorado Avalanche in the playoff standings. It will also be an emotional day at American Airlines Center as the Stars will be honoring the memory of former defenseman Karlis Skrastins. Skrastins, who played for the Stars the past two seasons, was involved in the September plane accident in Russia involving the Lokomotiv team.

Kari Lehtonen will be in goal for Dallas, and has a 1.89 goals-against average in two priors games this season against the Flames.

Date/Time: Saturday, March 24, 1 p.m. CST

Location: American Airlines Center

Local TV and Radio: TXA21, KTCK 1310 The Ticket
