Stars Vs. Blackhawks: Game Preview, TV Info, Time And More

Dallas looks to return to its winning ways against Chicago on Friday night.

The Dallas Stars (39-27-5) lost to the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday to end their six-game winning streak, but they have a chance to start another string of Ws when the Chicago Blackhawks (38-25-8) come to town on Friday night.

Kari Lehtonen's return to the crease could help Dallas. Lehtonen was on fire during the Stars' winning streak, but Dallas spelled him with Richard Bachman against Winnipeg, and Bachman conceded five goals.

The middling Dallas offense got two goals from Loui Eriksson and nothing else in the loss to Winnipeg, and could use more production out of Michael Ryder. The winger has one point in his last two games, and hasn't had a goal and an assist in a game since the last time Dallas played Chicago, a 3-1 win on February 23.

If Ryder can match his goal and assist from that game against the high-scoring Blackhawks on Friday, Dallas stands a much better chance of keeping up.

Game date/time: Friday, March 16, 7:30 p.m. CDT

TV: Fox Sports Southwest
