2012 NHL Skills Competition: TV Schedule, Announcers And More

The Dallas Stars Jamie Benn is taking part in three events in the 2012 NHL skill challenge this All-Star weekend.

The 2012 NHL All-Star weekend continues with the skills competition on Saturday night and the Dallas Stars will be represented by left wing Jamie Benn is participating in three events in the skills challenge tonight. The events that Benn will be participating in are the accuracy shooting contest against the Vancouver Canucks Cody Hodgson, the Boston Bruins Tyler Seguin and the Chicago Blackhawks Marian Hossa; the skills challenge relay and in the elimination shoot out.

Benn will be tweeting during the skills challenge along with 16 other All-Star players tonight and his twitter handle is @jamiebenn14.

Here are the order of events for tonight's skill challenge:

• Event 1 - Fastest Skater
• Event 2 - Breakaway Challenge
• Event 3 - Accuracy Shooting
• Event 4 - Skills Challenge Relay
• Event 5 - Hardest Shot
• Event 6 - Elimination Shootout

Date, time: Saturday, Jan. 28, 7 p.m. ET

Location: Scotiabank Place, Ottawa, Ontario

TV: NBC Sports Network

Announcers: Dave Strader (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (booth), Pierre McGuire and Jeremy Roenick will conduct on-ice interviews.
